Instead of starting with a mission statement or goal, we would like to ask you a couple questions for starters...
Have you ever ridden your motorcycle and just had a hoot of a time? What made the ride enjoyable? When done right, riding a motorcycle is easier and more fun. We are alert, in control, and one with the motorcycle and environment. We are relaxed and riding easily within our own personal limits.
Have you experienced this? Would you like to experience this more often?
Our goal at the LSTD Riding School is to help you enjoy your riding more whether you ride on the street, the track, or race. We believe that as your skills improve, you will become more confident in a wider variety of circumstances. We believe that making the learning environment as low pressure as possible will help you learn more quickly. The track is simply a controlled environment in which you can practice improving your skills at any speed, which is comfortable to you. We are welcome to having all types of motorcycles and encourage all riders with interest to attend.
Classroom instruction between sessions
so you never miss any track time!
We believe that any rider can benefit from time on a track. Many people may not ride faster on the street after track schools. Some begin to ride slower on the street, but ride with greater control, confidence, reserve ability, and enjoyment. At Lone Star Track Days we all love riding motorcycles. We would like to share our enthusiasm and our knowledge with you.

- Reference Points – Finding your way through a turn.
- Picking Lines
- Throttle Control
- Body Position and Relaxation – Let the motorcycle work the way it was designed to work.
- Braking.
Learn new techniques and break bad riding habits!
Format:
We will alternate between the classroom and on track sessions. A topic will be discussed with chances for questions and answers in the classroom. We will assign an instructor to a small group of students. Then you will go out on the track. Our instructors will follow you and have you follow them. They will coach you on how to perform the on track drill and check your progress before moving on to the next student. Then we will return to the classroom and repeat the sequence throughout the day. Our instructors are available for questions and answers at anytime during the event.

** Advanced Course Overview **
So you have some track days under your belt and you've improved your skill set! You have a firm grasp of the basics, but want to take the next step to improving your riding and/or are considering throwing your hat into the ring and going racing!
If you answered yes, then the LSTD Advanced Riding Course is for you!
Still photos and bench racing are vital parts of the track day experience. But VIDEO OF YOU ON THE TRACK is the ultimate teaching aid/learning tool and the LSTD Advanced Rider Program/School/Curriculum is a video based learning.
Get 1-on-1 instruction with a seasoned, licensed racer to diagnose, analyze and review your video as well as work with you on-track using drills and techniques that are proven successful! Furthermore, simply bring a 2 gig SD memory card with you to the track and the video is yours to take home!
